Welcome home!  I know you're happy to be through the "hard part".  Can't wait to hear more about how it went!  BTW, I had a BAD time with morphine also.  Never again for me!

Shauna,
I am so glad you are home and doing well. Yes definitely Shelia is an angel for keeping us all posted.
I look forward to reading all about your journey over the past couple of days.  Tomorrow I go for my last appt with my surgeon so we will see.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Shauna,

I am so glad that things went so well with you.  I know morphine makes a lot of people feel funny.  Welcome to the losers bench.  I know you will fly by me with weight loss.  Sometimes I wonder if I made a mistake by going with the lap-band.  But then I decide all over again that slow is better!!!!   If I can just get moving on my exercise a little bit better I know I would feel better.

I have so much going on right now in my life that my stress level is up there.  Taking mom to Lumberton to have a PET scan to see if she has lung cancer on Tuesday. Going with my brother to have him checked out for throat cancer.  Both are smokers.  Mom also has been diagnosed with severe emphysema and while she thinks she is breathing ok. She is having major trouble sleeping and feeling rested.  I have gotten her sleeping pills and she says I'm afraid I'll get addicted to the.  I told her at 80 years old who cares!!!!.  I am going to request oxygen at least for her to sleep with.  I really think it will help her to get a good nights sleep and feel rested.  I am at my wits end.  My brother still lives with her and he does not want her to know. Of course that gives me a hardtime with mom.    Wish me luck and pray for us.  Thanks it means so much.

Know that you and Allen and the rest of your family are on my pray list.  Keep in touch and sorry I rambled a bit. Just really wanted to let you know I am glad everything went well.

Hugs,
Vera  LapBand 8/12/2008
